Art or Pollution?

Urban sprawl can be ugly and depressing, and Tehran’s cityscape is no different. There is rubbish, building work, grime everywhere you look — and plenty of color. From posters advertising events and consumer goods, to graffiti and playful, artistic statements, Tehran is never dull on the eye. For some, it is a form of pollution. But for others, it is stimulating, exciting, and an integral part of their environment.
