Sometimes it takes a satirist to state things plainly, and "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart did that Wednesday night with his segment on many U.S. senators' push for new Iran sanctions. The senators, a coalition of 59 that includes a number of Democrats, argue that imposing new sanctions would help along the continuing negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program. The White House is urging them not to.
