A Different Kind of Orchestra for Tehran (and the World)

During Iran’s coronavirus lockdown, many musicians and artists have been creating and performing at home, and then sharing their work with colleagues and fans on social media, a welcome tonic to the stress and uncertainty brought by the pandemic. 

These photographs document Tehran Symphony Orchestra members' efforts to combat the negative and isolating impact of the lockdown, playing in their homes and outside their apartment buildings during the quarantine period.
