My Brother is Jailed Because I’m a Journalist

Sajjad Shahrabi,  a radio announcer and a dubber who has worked for the state-owned Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) for many years, was arrested on May 3 and taken to Tehran's Evin prison after Intelligence Ministry agents raided his parents' home and confiscated his and his family’s personal and electronic items. Why? Because his brother, Shima Shahrabi, is the editor-in-chief of IranWire’s Persian-language website.
