Over the last few days, the Iranian public has been shocked by a disturbing case of child abuse in Ardabil, northwest Iran.
A nursery teacher was filmed force-feeding a child, using her legs to hold him down. The child’s parents took action after seeing the footage, suing the nursery and leading to the arrests of the teacher and her boss. Shortly after, a video of the incident was posted online, and soon went viral. The nursery has since been closed.
