Four of the five Iranian soldiers kidnapped by extremist group Jaish ul-Adl were released on April 4th. The group killed the fifth soldier, Jamshid Danaeifar, two weeks previously, during the Newroz holiday period. The five men were completing their mandatory national service at the time of their abduction on February 6th.
