Praying for Khamenei’s Speedy Recovery

As photographs of well-wishers visiting Ayatollah Khamenei in hospital continue to make the rounds on social media, groups of ordinary citizens are doing their part to ensure the Supreme Leader makes a speedy recovery. In Garmeh in North Khorasan Province, sheep were sacrificed in honor of his health, while others gathered to pray in public spaces adorned in photographs of the ayatollah, including in Tehran, where people prayed at Behesht Zahra martyrs’ cemetery.
