In Iran, many people have no choice but to live very close to electricity pylons, though it is widely believed that there could be serious health risks involved. Studies have suggested links between high cancer risks and electricity lines, though other research disputes these claims. These photographs offer a glimpse of what daily life is like for some of these families, who live 50, or even 20, meters away from transmission towers.
