Afghan migrants have been an important part of Iran's workforce for many years, contributing to some of Iran's most important and lucrative industries. Some have carved out very successful businesses of their own, developing expertise and acquiring valuable experience. This suit-making workshop, founded by an Afghan immigrant living southwest of Tehran, helps provide jobs for more than 100 people. After an initial 10 billion-rial investment, the business has continued to grow and today produces more than 150 suits a day.
