Iranian fans witnessed football glory for Iran as Team Melli beat Yemen on Monday, January 7 in the Asian Cup competition.
Fans traveled to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates to watch the cup game, which Iran won 5-0. Many of them added to the celebratory mood by painting their faces and wearing the colors of the Iranian flag to support the national team.
It was the first time Yemen had taken part in the competition.
