Honeybee Farms in Khalkhal

With 304,000 honeybee colonies producing 6,134 tons of honey annually, the northwest province of Ardabil ranks as the third-biggest honey producer in Iran. The city of Khalkhal is home to 41,000 honeybee colonies and yields 650 tons of honey per year, ranking the second-biggest producer in the province.
