The village of Salimabad in Markazi province has been a hub for traditional hand-crafted pottery for about a century, with the skill handed down generations of the Mohebbis, a local family. Moheb Ali Mohebbi, born in 1947, began learning the craft at the age of six under his father, the master Ali Baba Khan, and his uncle, Assad Khan.
