"As Nowruz (Iranian New Year) approaches,” he writes, “the streets of the city are filled with greenery, samanu (a sweet past made from germinated wheat) and red fish. Shopping malls have laid their glamorous Haft-Sin tables. When spring comes, everything becomes beautiful. I wanted to share these beauties with others."
