Security forces arrested Farshid Ghorbanipour, a journalist and owner of the online bookshop Soren Book, his wife announced on September 25, amid a crackdown on media workers.
Security agents raided the couple’s home after breaking the door, beat them and took Ghorbanipour to an unknown place, according to his wife, Somayeih Nouroozi.
They also sprayed pepper spray the presence of their young child.
