An outspoken Iranian journalist was stabbed in the Kurdish town of Sanandaj in Iran.
Ejlal Ghawami, a Kurdish journalist from Sanandaj, announced in an Instagram post that he was attacked by unidentified individuals.
According to Ghawami, the assailants used a knife in the attack, resulting in injuries that required him to undergo surgery.
Ghawami is known for his critical stance against the Islamic Republic.
