Ahmad Alirezabeigi, the representative of Tabriz in Iran's parliament and the former governor of East Azerbaijan, has raised questions about the helicopter crash that killed President Ebrahim Raisi.

Speaking to the Didban Iran website, Alirezabigi mentioned that there were no issues with mobile antennas in the area where the accident occurred.

He found it unclear why the short distance between Tabriz and Qiz Qala Si Dam was covered by helicopter instead of other means.

Alirezabeigi expressed his confusion about why the helicopter was used for such a short distance.

He also questioned why the accident site was not located earlier, noting that significant technical facilities should have made it easy to find the location using mobile phone signals.

He is currently awaiting the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces for more information.

The Tabriz MP emphasized that the accident had many ambiguities that needed to be addressed.

The initial report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces indicated that no bullet marks or suspicious cases were found in the conversations between the tower and the flight group.

However, the report stated that more time is needed to examine some parts and documents.

The conflicting narratives from Iranian authorities have led to increased uncertainty about the possible causes of the crash.

Two Tehran newspapers have called for clarification on the ambiguities and an investigation into the possibility of a "foreign conspiracy."
