The Islamic Republic's security forces have arrested a father and son following a raid on their house in southeastern Mirjaveh and have transferred them to an undisclosed location.
Khodanazar Rigi, 50, and his son Abdulbasit Rigi, a university student from Zahedan, were arrested on Tuesday.
Security forces entered Khodanazar Rigi's house without presenting a search warrant.
Witnesses reported that Abdulbasit was beaten during the arrest, and Khodanazar was detained after protesting his son's unlawful detention, according to the Hengaw Human Rights Organization.
The Baluch Activists Campaign suggests Abdulbasit's arrest may be linked to an incident at the Grand Mosque of Mirjaveh on December 6.
During a sermon by Molavi Anwar Rigi, Abdulbasit reportedly voiced objections that attracted the attention of security forces.
No information is available regarding the current whereabouts or condition of Khodanazar and Abdulbasit Rigi.
