Two Army Air Defense Personnel Killed in Israeli Attack

Tasnim News Agency reported on the funeral procession of two personnel from the Air Defense Force of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran who, according to the report, lost their lives on Monday during attacks attributed to Israel.

According to the report, the two military personnel, identified as Bahman Hosseini and Alireza Abiri, were killed while on a mission during the recent limited clashes between Iran and Israel, which have been accompanied by an exchange of limited and targeted attacks between the two sides over the past few days.

Tasnim stated that the two individuals were members of the Air Defense Force of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and that their bodies were escorted in a funeral ceremony.

The Islamic Republic of Iran typically does not officially or extensively announce details regarding its military casualties during attacks attributed to Israel or the United States, and the publication of this news is among the rare instances in which the killing of military personnel under such circumstances has been publicly mentioned.

Before this, no fatalities had been reported as a result of Monday and Tuesday's attacks by Israel, while 15 wounded individuals had been announced.

Yesterday, the Israeli military stated that it had launched an "all-out" attack on Iran's strategic air defense systems.

According to the Israeli military's statement, Iran's air defenses were weakened during the 12-day war, but later, "air defense systems were deployed across various parts of Iran" to rebuild their capability, and those systems were destroyed in these attacks.
