On Friday, Iranians voted in two major elections: one for parliament, and one for a powerful group of Islamic scholars called the Assembly of Experts.
But two powerful men, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and Guardian Council Secretary Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, made sure elections went their way.
