Iman Khezri, a reaident of the southern city of Masjid Suleiman who was arrested in April after joining a protest, was transferred to solitary confinement on August 26 after 138 days of detention in the Shiban prison of Ahvaz, IranWire reports.
No information is available concerning his mental and physical well-being.
Khezri was arrested on April 11 in Izeh city.
His case has been forwarded to the second division of the Izeh prosecutor's office.
Despite two objections lodged against the ruling of temporary detention, both appeals have been dismissed by the court.
Concerns over Khezri's health escalated after reports emerged from Shiban prison, suggesting that in protest of his uncertain status, he resorted to sewing his lips shut.
