Each week, hundreds of people are taking to the streets of the southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan after Friday prayers, defying a bloody repression by the Islamic Republic on five months of anti-government protests. This is a selection of pictures taken on a Friday inside and outside the compound of Zahedan’s Grand Makki Mosque, the largest Sunni mosque in the country.
