We also look at the effects of dust storms plaguing Iran’s western provinces, where a confluence of drought and climate change has caused clouds of dust to blot out the sky.
Whether it encountered threats to traditional morality or those presented by nature and climate change, the Islamic Republic focused a little more on heaven than on earth.
