Two actors were killed and four other people were injured in an accident on the set of the historical TV drama Salman Farsi in northeastern Iran.
The incident occurred on February 29 at the filming location in a village near Shahrood, according to the official news agency IRNA.
The report quoted local officials as saying that the casualties were caused by the collapse of a bridge.
The names of those killed and injured were not immediately known.
Mehr news agency confirmed the two casualties and shared a short video showing a rescue helicopter arriving at the site of the incident.
Salman Farsi is a 60-episode historical series directed by Dawood Mirbagheri, known for his work on the popular Iranian television series Imam Ali and Mokhtarnameh.
Produced by the Sima Film Center, which is affiliated with the state-run Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), the series boasts a hefty budget of approximately $37 million, according to a member of parliament.
