Imprisoned Nobel Peace Prize winner Narges Mohammadi, in a message from Evin prison, has severely criticized the Islamic Republic for cracking down on women.

Mohammadi sent a message asserting that the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has launched a widespread assault against women across the country.

In her message on Sunday, Mohammadi referenced the arrest of Dina Qalibaf, stating, "Just an hour ago, another Iranian woman, Dina Qalibaf, arrived in the women's ward of Evin prison with visible bruises and a harrowing tale of sexual abuse."

Mohammadi underlined the longstanding narratives of women being subjected to assault, harassment, and violence by government agents.

She emphasized that the current aggression "is not a display of power but an act of desperation by the tyrannical regime, unleashing a full-scale war against all women on Iran's streets."

She urged all sectors of society to partake in widespread protests against the repression of women in the Islamic Republic.

Mohammadi directly addressed Iranian women, praising their resilience in the face of government brutality.

She highlighted their refusal to succumb to fear and collective resistance across the nation.

Mohammadi expressed confidence that the narratives of Iranian women will expose and "ultimately defeat the misogynistic government."

She encouraged Iranian women to share their stories of oppression, abuse, and assault on her Instagram page, amplifying their voices in the fight for justice.
