A Kurdish tradesman and father of five from the Kurdish town of Baneh was fatally shot by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) border forces near the city borders on Tuesday.
According to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, IRGC forces stationed at the Galeh-Sour border opened fire on Mohammad Ghaderi, killing him.
Hengaw reports indicate the use of Kalashnikov rifles at close range and without warning near "Kāneks-e Xarjak."
Ghaderi's remains have not been returned to his family as of this report.
He was from the village Shuy in Baneh. He was married and is survived by his wife and five children.
