Laleh Sa'ati, a Christian convert imprisoned in Evin Prison, is being denied access to specialized medical attention despite her deteriorating neurological condition.

Sa'ati's family raised concerns about her mental well-being after a recent visit, as they saw a significant decline in her condition.

This follows news that the prosecutor overseeing her case blocked a request for her temporary release for medical evaluation.

Sa'ati's arrest in February stemmed from alleged "acting against national security through contact with Zionist Christian organizations."

She was subsequently sentenced to two years in prison and a travel ban in March.
