On September 22, following President Trump's threatening speech at the UN General Assembly, Iranian TV reported that Iran had carried out a missile test. Reacting to the statement, Trump tweeted that Iran was working with North Korea and warned the missile could hit Israel (800 miles from Iran).

But now, US media, quoting military sources, say the video was actually nine-month-old footage of a failed operation.
