Flood Safety Drills Underway

Flood search-and-rescue teams from Gilan province began a two-day training operation on July 26. The drill, which took place in Rasht, is the ninth round of an initiative that aims to improve the capabilities and efficiency of teams tasked with the vital work of saving lives in the region. The northern province has been vulnerable to flash floods in recent years.
