Two Police Officers, Civilian Killed by Armed Individual in Isfahan

Two police officers and one civilian were killed in an incident in the central Iranian city of Isfahan on the evening of August 18, local media report. 

Reports say that a phone call to the Police Emergency Center reported a shooting that had led to the death of a person. 

Law enforcement personnel were dispatched to the scene of the incident, where they exchanged fire with an individual who died on the spot.

Two police officers succumbed to their injuries in a hospital.
