Retired teachers gathered in front of Iran's Parliament on Wednesday to protest the government's failure to implement pension laws that would determine their retirement benefits based on years of service, education, and expertise.
The protest follows a similar demonstration on Saturday near the presidential office on Tehran's Pasteur Street.
Protesters expressed their frustration with chants such as "Government officials, have some shame, stop denying our rights" and "Our demand is clear: just enforce the law now."

The dispute primarily concerns teachers who retired between September 2021 and February 2022.
According to the Pension Equalization Law and Teacher Ranking Law, which came into effect in September 2021, retirees are entitled to receive at least 90 percent of their salary.
However, nearly 40 months after their retirement, these adjustments have yet to be implemented.
The protests are part of a wider trend of livelihood-related demonstrations across various labor sectors in Iran, fueled by growing economic pressures and inflation that are impacting wage earners.
