The Football Federation of Iran had previously announced that, with FIFA’s approval, the national team’s camp and base during the 2026 World Cup would be relocated to the border city of Tijuana in Mexico.
The first two matches of the Iranian national football team are scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, but no reliable news has yet been published regarding the issuance of US visas for the members of the Iranian team and their entourage.
