A man in Shiraz is understood to have been arrested after brandishing a placard denouncing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Russian president Vladimir Putin.
A video shared by the Twitter and Instagram account 1500Tasvir, which monitors on-the-ground developments and protests in Iran, showed the man standing on top of a telephone kiosk holding a banner that says: “Shame on Khamenei, death to Putin”.
