Intelligence agents have arrested a Baluch teenager in southeastern Iran and taken him to an unknown location, a rights group reported.
Rezwan Taraz, 17, was detained on Monday by plainclothes officers in the Rask district, according to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
The city is located in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan province.
Taraz was riding his motorcycle when intelligence agents stopped and forcibly detained him.
Family members have attempted to obtain information about Taraz’s whereabouts and condition, but security authorities have not provided any response.
No details are available about the reasons for his arrest, potential charges, or his current location.
