Celebrated Iranian musician and composer Shahrdad Rouhani performed with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra at the capital's Vahdat Hall on the evening of Thursday, December 1.
In May 2016, Rouhani, who is a dual Iranian-US national, was appointed as the orchestra's conductor. Prior to this, he held a number of prestigious positions, including conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Earlier this year, he led a string orchestra performance at the 31st Fajr International Music Festival, also in Tehran.
