The Chapel of Chupan is a small Armenian church situated west of Jolfa near the Aras River in Iran's East Azerbaijan. Nestling in a mountain valley, the chapel was built in the 16th century and is part of Iran's Armenian Monastic Ensemble — three churches built over several centuries, which are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
