These photographs offer a glimpse of nomad life in Iran. The images were taken near Hamun Lake, some 30 miles from Zabul in Sistan and Baluchistan province near the border with Afghanistan. The lives of nomads have become more difficult as the lagoon has dried up over the years, and threats to these tribal people's way of life — and their livelihoods gained from animal husbandry — continue.
