Plasco One Year On

This week Tehran marked the one-year anniversary of the Plasco Building disaster. On January 19, 2017, the famous skyscraper in the center of the capital collapsed following an intense fire that lasted for three hours. Sixteen firefighters lost their lives trying to put out the flames. 

Here photographer Mohammad Mohsenifar holds snapshots of the disaster in front of his camera, merging memories of last year with scenes of what the site looks like today.
