On Monday, August 5, as the deadline for filing an appeal in the case of filmmaker Mohammad Rasoulof approached, a number of his colleagues working in Iranian cinema accompanied Rasoulof to the Revolutionary Court, along with his wife Rosita Hendijanian and lawyer Nasser Zarafshan.
“Everybody goes to court with their families and we are Mohammad Rasoulof’s family,” said one of his colleagues.
Those showing solidarity for Rasoulof, who was given a one-year prison sentence in September 2017, were:
