The Ab Malakh waterfall is one of the strangest and most intriguing natural landmarks in Iran. A very unique type of water is found there, with properties that destroy invasive locusts that can pose a significant danger to the wildlife in that part of Isfahan province. The waterfall and the nearby village are both called Ab Malahk, or “Locust Water," because of the water's extraordinary properties.
