Iranian security forces have detained Omid Hormozi, the producer of a popular football podcast, amid a crackdown on the media in the country.
The was no information about Hormozi’s whereabouts since his November 3 arrest at his workplace, the Emtedad news website reported.
It said the journalist’s mobile phone and personal computer were confiscated during the raid.
Dozens of journalists have been jailed across Iran since the September 16 death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in the custody of Tehran’s morality police triggered a wave of nationwide protests.
The largely peaceful demonstrations have grown to become the biggest challenge to Iran’s clerical regime since the 2009 protest movement.
