The Islamic Republic's security forces have arrested Omid Mazloum, the brother of executed Kurdish political prisoner Mohsen Mazloum, for the second time in western Mahabad.
Agents from the Intelligence Ministry detained the 40-year-old man on November 17, reportedly without presenting an arrest warrant.
The arrest marks Mazloum's second detention this year.
He was previously arrested on July 25, 2023, before his brother's execution, and later released on bail.
His brother, Mohsen Mazloum, was one of four Kurdish political prisoners executed on January 29 at Ghezelhesar Prison.
The other executed prisoners were Mohammad Faramarzi, Pejman Fatehi, and Vafa Azarbar.
Authorities have yet to return the bodies of the executed men to their families.
