Iranian security forces have arrested Kamran Soltani, a 45-year-old filmmaker from the Kurdish city of Bukan, human rights sources reported.
Security agents raided Soltani’s home on Tuesday without presenting a warrant, searched the residence, and confiscated personal items, including his mobile phone and camera.
Soltani has worked for years as a documentary filmmaker and photographer, covering cultural and artistic events in Kurdistan, and is a well-known figure in the field.
Authorities have not disclosed his whereabouts or any charges against him.
The arrest is part of a broader pattern of intensified security pressure on cultural and media activists in Kurdish areas.
