The Tehran Police Information Center announced on Sunday, April 26, that three business units had been sealed due to what they described as the “unauthorized use of satellite internet equipment.”
According to ILNA, the Greater Tehran Police Command stated that officers from the Public Places Supervision Office of the capital’s police intelligence unit visited a shopping mall in northwest Tehran and sealed the three units for “unauthorized use of satellite internet equipment.”
The statement alleges that some of the operators of these units “had established continuous contact with hostile and anti-revolutionary networks,” and that one of them, in 19 separate instances of communication with these networks, had sent videos related to the Ramadan War, specifically showing strike locations. The statement issued by the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran did not provide further details, including the exact date these businesses were sealed.
