Tasnim News Agency, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), reported that the Iranian negotiating team has emphasized that as long as Donald Trump’s declaration of a naval blockade against Iran remains in effect, there will be no negotiations.
According to Tasnim, the exchange of messages between Iran and the U.S. via the Pakistani intermediary has continued in recent days following the conclusion of the first round of talks. This exchange is a continuation of the same process that previously remained fruitless due to what the agency described as "excessive demands and ambitions of the Americans."
This report was released by the IRGC-affiliated media outlet shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that his representatives were en route to Islamabad to negotiate with Iran. At the same time, Trump threatened that if his administration's proposals are not accepted, the U.S. will attack Iran's infrastructure, including all bridges and power plants.
