Parliament Security Spokesperson: The Path to Peace Passes Through War

Ebrahim Rezaei, the spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, or Parliament, wrote in a message on X that "the path to peace and stability passes through the heart of war."

In his message, he warned against falling into what he termed a "calculation error" and wrote: "If you do not prepare yourselves for a decisive response to the enemy, war will knock on your door."

The spokesperson for Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee also wrote: "Following the silence of the battlefield, our armed forces have increased their strength and resolved their vulnerabilities. We are prepared to respond, stronger than February 28, and we will not remain silent until the moment of the enemy's regret and the alteration of their mental and perceptual calculations."

The Revolutionary Guards launched a new wave of missile attacks against Israel on Sunday evening and Monday morning. These strikes were initiated following an Israeli attack on Beirut's southern Dahiyeh, which targeted the bases of Lebanese Hezbollah.
