Judiciary: More Than 2,400 People Arrested on Charges of Cooperating with Israel

Asghar Jahangir, the spokesperson for the Islamic Republic's Judiciary, announced that 3,121 individuals have so far been judicially prosecuted on charges of cooperating with Israel, of whom 2,406 have been arrested.

According to the Judiciary spokesperson, the detained individuals face charges including "operational activities for the benefit of the Zionist regime," "security, economic, military, and financial actions," "cooperation and assistance with a hostile regime," as well as "political, cultural, media, and propaganda activities in favor of the enemy."

Jahangir also stated that the possession, purchase, and sale of unauthorized communication tools, including Starlink satellite internet equipment, are among the charges brought against some of these individuals.

Over the past year, the judicial and security apparatuses of the Islamic Republic have expanded the scope of crackdowns on citizens under the title of countering "Israeli agents."
