Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the country's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with the Islamic Republic's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, to discuss mediation efforts between the United States and Iran, as well as developments in Lebanon.
According to the statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the call, the Qatari Prime Minister emphasized Doha's support for efforts to contain tensions and achieve a comprehensive agreement that would contribute to strengthening security and peace in the region.
Simultaneously, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported a telephone conversation between the country's Foreign Minister and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan. According to Qatari officials, mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran were also discussed and reviewed during this call.
