Explosions Heard and Renewed Missile Launches Reported in Iran

On Monday morning, June 8, the "Vahid Online" Telegram channel published a collection of messages from citizens across Iran reporting the sound of explosions and what some users described as "missile launches."

Citizens in the provinces of Kermanshah, West Azerbaijan, Isfahan, Khuzestan, and Lorestan reported "explosions" or the "sighting of missile launches." Several messages from Kermanshah mentioned hearing a "loud explosion" around 7:30 AM. Similarly, citizens from Urmia reported hearing the heavy sound of a "missile launch."

In Isfahan province, multiple reports were published from the cities of Isfahan, Najafabad, Vilashahr, Khomeyni Shahr, and Falavarjan. Some of these messages claimed that missiles were being fired from military zones or areas near garrisons.

Citizens in Bandar Mahshahr also reported hearing the sound of a powerful explosion between 7:26 and 7:30 AM, while some said two missiles were fired from the Imam Ali base in Khorramabad.
