Evacuation Order for Petrochemical Special Economic Zone Staff

The Public Relations Office of the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone Organization announced that, following a decision by the region's Senior Passive Defense and Crisis Management Command, all day-shift employees must urgently evacuate the Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone.

According to the announcement, the order "does not apply to operational personnel stationed at the petrochemical units," and these personnel will continue their activities as per previous routines.

The notice states that the decision to evacuate non-operational staff from the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone was adopted within the framework of passive defense and crisis management protocols.

The announcement comes hours after reports emerged of attacks on several industrial facilities in the Mahshahr region. However, officials did not provide any explanation regarding the reason for issuing the evacuation order or how long it is expected to remain in effect.
